Jesus told a lame man to rise, take up his bed, and walk. Problem was the lame man felt his help would come from outside himself. He was looking for external assistance. Jesus had the man focus on his inner desire. What do you want? Jesus continues asking the same question today. What do you want? Come on, draw from within your own heart and determine your desire. Tell it to Jesus. His response will be quite the same as it was to this lame man.

Jesus first told the man to rise. Get up. The premier action, the first key, must be to get up on the inside. Next, Jesus wanted the man to take up his bed. Take responsibility for the things that hold you back. Make decisions based on Godly principles and Biblical direction. Finally, Jesus encouraged the man to walk. When He said to walk, He was telling a man who had not walked in thirty-eight years to make use of the opportunity. You have quality opportunities within your reach. Use these three keys to obtain your personal breakthrough. Get up on the inside, take responsibility, and maximize your opportunities.
