Hills aren't mountains but when you're the one doing the climbing, that point seems insignificant. When you walk up a hill, the view is obscured, a demand is made on your physical ability and your stamina is tested. Sometimes what looks like a hill is really a mountain and vice versa.
You may be facing a hill or hills today. A hill could be the loss of job, a friendship or struggles with your children. You know the sun is just over the horizon but all you see before you is dirt. Your hands are full of grass and you are beginning to feel the strain. You sweat, pant and pray that soon you reach the top.
Remember Psalm 121:1, "I will lift up my eyes unto the hills, from which comes my help." If you need help and your climbing a challenging hill, you are in the right place! According to this scripture, our HILLS are the ENTRY POINT for HEAVEN'S emergency services. Help is on the way and you won't have long to wait.
Keep climbing, keep reaching upward. Don't be afraid to call for help if you feel yourself sliding or feel lost in the hills. Help is very near.
