God loves you totally, without reservation and absent of conditions. God loved you before you were born of earthly parents, He knew you and hovered over you. His expansive, generous love wrapped around you as a promise to always be near you.

When you came to earth disconnected and removed from God because of sin, He built a bridge by way of the cross. His obedient Son offered his life for yours, connecting you once again to the God who loved you. At times, you forget that God loves you, you become mired in the problems of the day and discouraged by the obstacles before you -- God still loves you!

He loves you when you are aware of Him and when you forget Him. He loves you when you worship Him and when you avoid Him. God loves you when you're small, when you're grown and when you're sick. There is no part of you that God does not completely love and celebrate.

If you reject Him, abuse Him or refuse the bridge He offers, He still loves you. He can't help Himself. Turn to God and accept His consuming, complete love. Forget your ideas of religion. Forget the rules and regulations -- just love. Love Him like He loves you, with your entire being. Do this, and find true happiness!

God knows you and loves you! You may have been merely a "twinkle" in your natural father's eye but your spiritual Father still sparkles over you! To God you are not merely the middle child, the youngest or oldest. You are not the sporty one, the girlie one or the kid who always screws up. You see, God has the supernatural ability to love you like you were the only person in the world. With or without your perceived self-perfection.

No matter what your age or life situation, all God's expectations for you remain intact. He's still in the bleachers believing you will hit a home run. He's the proud Father who shows everyone He knows your picture. Even His enemies get to hear all about you! Your Daddy loves you. You are still a twinkle in His eye!

_ Do you remember the first time you were in love? How you wrote his name a hundred times in a notebook or how you daydreamed about her smile? Didn’t you meditate on the dimple in her cheek or the color of his eyes?

Remember the moment you first saw your child? How he wrapped his tiny fingers around just one of yours? How she looked when she gave you her first smile? What joy! What bliss!

Are comfortable, childhood friendships some of your favorite memories? Riding bikes fearlessly down hills and searching together for the elusive four-leafed clover?

God’s love for us is like all of these special loves and moments -- but all rolled into one. His big, undying love is a holy combination of the promises of childhood faith, the enduring love of a parent and the devoted pursuit of a lover. He has the full and capable capacity to love each one of us completely and beyond our expectations.

Ponder His love today. Look for little love notes written in the sky and on your heart. If you search hard enough, you’ll find Him!

As a dyed in the wool encourager, I get many phone calls, text messages and email from people that need uplifting. Since that's what I do and who I am in God I don't mind. Encouraging others in their faith is what I love to do more than any thing else. Lately, I've met a lot of new Christians and the spiritually curious who don't ask about God's love but seem to be afraid of God.
In one recent conversation, a young Christian wanted a list of all the things she couldn't do. "Should I smoke?" "Am I allowed to wear...?" You get the idea. After attempting to answer a few perfunctory question I realized her problem wasn't knowledge, her problem was her picture of God. She should, we all should, come to God in love not fear.
Many of us come to Christ to avoid the flames, to get that "get out of hell free" card but the truth is that fear does not belong in your relationship with Christ.
God loves you. Yes, flawless, silly, awkward you! When God sees the redeemed, he doesn't see you in the mud. He sees the blood of his son and his likeness stamped on you. When God smells you, he doesn't smell the lurid stench of sin. You are a wonderful fragrance to God, a light breeze lilting on the wind.
God isn't looking down from above waiting say "Tsk, tsk" when you wear shorts or even when you slip up and sin. He looks at you in love so come to him in love. Don't be afraid of God. He isn't out to get you... except to get you closer to him.
Love God and trust his Spirit to guide you. "Work out, (walk out) your own salvation in free and trembling (reverent respect)."
1 John 4:8 "Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love."
