People like regulations because rules free them of their individual responsibility. What reason do we have to pray, seek or follow if everything is written in black or white? Beloved, this age, like the age of the Old Testament, is mired in regulations because people prefer to abandon personal restraint and refuse to accept responsibility for their actions. For the believer, this ought not be!
"The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless (for the law made nothing perfect) and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God." (Hebrews 7: 18-19)
I encourage you today to reconnect with the Spirit of God. Allow Him to become your regulatory committee. Move with Him, refusing what He refuses and partaking in what He embraces. If you live ruled by the Spirit of God, our gift from Christ, you'll never have to worry about sin and regulations. Be a citizen of His Kingdom and live by the Spirit!
