Take courage, the battle is still the Lord’s. We simply stand. The Bible says, “Having done all to stand, stand.” Refuse to get faint of heart, just stand. “Stand” means to “put yourself, locate yourself, position, set, situate yourself,” and last, but not least, “rest yourself.” Maybe you didn’t know that “REST” is a great part of “STANDING.” Let’s break it on down a bit more.

If “stand” ultimately means to “rest,” then “rest” must be clarified. “REST” means, “relax, take it easy, take a break and put your feet up.” Would God expect me to have that kind of posture during my storm? Yes He would! He wants you to rest in His ability. How incredible?

This is a dimension of God that doesn’t require “doing” as much as it requires “being.” Cease the inner struggle and let God’s Word, which is already in your recreated spirit, become dominate in your environment. That’s what is needed right now, a “CREATIVE WORD.” Speak to your storm about your God. Don’t speak to God about your storm. Your speaking, wrapped with faith, can create any miracle you desire.
