Life is often compared to a ship navigating the sea of life. Most lives, as well as most ships, will make it in the storm as long as the storm doesn’t get inside. In these difficult times, with a storm on the inside of life, there is undue risk of damage that can take down your ship of life. It is absolutely necessary to move the storm to the outside where you can master the storm instead of the storm mastering you. Instead of speaking about the storm, begin SPEAKING TO THE STORM!
Jesus mastered storms because He never allowed them to get inside His life. Conversely, the disciples often allowed storms to get inside them, and the result was a life of fear and uncertainty. The only approach to successfully master a storm is to speak TO the storm, not speak IN the storm. Choose to extract internal storms from your life, and deal with them from a position of authority. Instead of telling God how big your storm is, tell the storm the size of your God. You will always win when you are SPEAKING TO THE STORM!
