Bishop Gerald Doggett

I’ve often heard the phrase, “Don’t let anybody steal your dream.” While I completely agree with the statement, I am keenly aware that oft times it isn’t some BODY who is stealing the dream, but some THING. Because dreams are a matter of the mind, and heart, I’ve often found an inward attitude to an external circumstance can very easily become a dream thief. Take careful inventory, and identify attitudes in your life that might be stealing your dream. Get serious about your dream and take damaging attitudes to the Lord knowing you have total victory over THE ENEMY WITHIN!

Take inventory of attitudes. Mark the good ones and deal with those undesired. A critical spirit along with a bad attitude can poison decision-making, alienate friends, and become financially devastating. With such broad effect, you can readily see the high price of a bad attitude. A commitment to self-control is a start, but it must ultimately be brought to the altar of God and wrapped in repentance. Only then can God be free to operate in your life to restore your joy, and bring defeat to THE ENEMY WITHIN!
