Today gets a bad wrap! You've heard others say, or maybe you've said yourself, "I dread today," or "I wish today was already over!" Today is the day of promise, beloved! The day we've waited for! Here's what just the first few books of the Bible tells us today is.
Genesis 21:26: Today is the day of revelation, the day the enemies traps are revealed, secret things come to light.
Genesis 24:2 Today is the day of success for good plans.
Genesis 30:33 Today is a day of separation. God knows who belongs to Him.
Genesis 40:7 Today is the day of divine favor.
Genesis 47 Today is the day of blessing.
Exodus 13 Today is the day of deliverance, daily bread, consecration and increase!
Each of these declarations still hang in the air, ready to take command, to be spoken, to perform the will of God. Get a hold of some "todays" for yourself. There are literally hundreds of declarations in the Word about today. Make today an official day for the work of the Lord, speak it! "Today is the day we've waited for!!"
