Remember this catchy song; with its bouncy lyrics? Get that tune in your head and it will remain for days. The message is simple--don’t worry, be happy. Part of the song reminds us that when we worry, we can make "trouble double." Worry is putting a question mark where God has put a period! Often we have difficult times without knowing how, or why, our journey included these risky places.

Living in the will of God does not provide an exclusion from real life--we experience some hard moments. The Apostle Paul, who lived in the will of God, found tough going much of his Christian journey. He was able to navigate those areas and find life lessons to teach, from which we continue to draw encouragement. God’s word also reminds us that anxiety should not be present in our thinking.

Since you’ve already made some choices today, make another choice and replace worry with God’s promise to make a way out of trouble. Your present condition has not taken God by surprise. Remember, when you are in a difficult place, God will lead you out. Come on; give it a try, DON’T WORRY, BE HAPPY!
