Truth seems to be an evasive commodity in today’s world. People deceive, twist the truth to fit a circumstance, dance around the truth with fancy verbiage, and otherwise create gray areas where it used to be black and white. In a world looking for reality, Jesus declared, “I am the truth.” Please know He remains the Truth. To every heart seeking reality, security and someone in whom they can trust, Jesus is the standard. His promise is unwavering, His compassion knows no bounds, His reach is from everlasting to everlasting, and His ability to restore broken lives is beyond comprehension.
I write to every person who knows the pain of betrayal, abandonment, or desertion. If trust has been destroyed and you wonder whether you can ever release yourself to another again, turn to Jesus. He is the Truth. One who can balance emotions, heal the pain of your deepest hurts. Life need not end with this pain. Jesus is the Truth. Take your grief to Jesus and trust Him to be everything you need for restoration and guidance for the future. Life will be good again when you hear Jesus softly say, “I AM THE TRUTH!”
